Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a wedding comes with a lot of questions. Below are some of the most common questions couples ask when booking Endless Dreams Entertainment.
How far in advance should we book our DJ?
Most couples book their wedding entertainment 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates. Because we only book one wedding per day, we recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue secured. We do however have other DJ's that we work with and are positive we can find a good fit for your big day.
Do you take song requests?
Absolutely. Your music preferences are very important to us. We encourage couples to provide must-play songs, as well as a do-not-play list.
We also take guest requests when appropriate and when they fit the vibe of your celebration.
Do you act as the Master of Ceremonies?
Yes! Being a DJ is only part of the job. We professionally MC your reception, guiding the timeline and making announcements for key moments like the grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, and more. It's one of DJ Skye's favorite parts of the evening... being on a microphone.
Can we choose all of the music?
Yes. You have complete control over the music selections for important moments such as:
• Ceremony music
• Grand entrance
• First dance
• Parent dances
• Cake cutting
• Last dance
We also help guide the overall music flow to keep the dance floor energized throughout the night.
Do you provide ceremony sound?
Yes. We provide professional ceremony audio for your officiant (when appropriate) and ceremony music so all of your guests can clearly hear every moment.
This includes prelude music, ceremony music, and cocktail hour music.
What happens if equipment fails?
We always bring backup equipment to every event. Professional sound quality and reliability are extremely important, and we prepare for every situation so your celebration continues without interruption.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes. Endless Dreams Entertainment carries liability insurance, which many venues require from professional entertainment vendors.
Do you coordinate with our other vendors?
Absolutely. We work closely with your venue, photographer, videographer, and planner to make sure the timeline flows smoothly throughout the evening.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes! We are happy to schedule a consultation so we can talk about your wedding vision and answer any questions you may have.
How do we reserve our date?
Your wedding date is officially reserved once the contract is signed and the 25% retainer is received.
Because we only book one wedding per day, securing your date early is recommended.
